For those in remote areas, appointments for phone or Skype consultations are available on request.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and missed appointments may attract the full fee.
Fees are based on a standard 50 minute consultation fee of $251.00.
Fees are payable at the time of appointment.
A referral is not needed unless you wish to make an appointment under the following schemes:
You must have the correct referral under the above schemes to make a claim or seek a rebate. Different types of services and limited sessions apply for each scheme. You should discuss this with your referrer or with Dr Grace prior to confirming an appointment.
To obtain a rebate for psychological services under the Medicare Better Access initiative you will need to:
You are entitled to 10 consultations per calendar year. An initial 6 consultations are usually requested by your GP. Dr Grace will provide a letter to your GP regarding your progress. A review by your GP is then required before a further referral can be made for the remaining 4 consultations.
Dr Grace does not offer bulk billing.
The Northern Territory Crisis Assessment Telephone Triage and liaison service is available 24 hours for people experiencing a mental health crisis ( Ph: 1800 682288).
